The Second Story Loft is a perfect home base for everyone who enjoys the bustling culture of Nantucket Town.
There is no parking on the property.
It is a second story walk-up. As it is newly renovated, it has top-notch sprinkler and safety features.
As the apartment is surrounded by restaurants and activity and is located above a busy shop, there will be times when customers, deliveries, or utilities are audible as they are in any downtown.
Please be aware of that fact.

Books are the striking feature of the living room. They were gathered lovingly over the past few years from many sources. (They are to be enjoyed but not removed, please.) Writer's references and cookbooks might prove especially useful. You'll find some true gems if you really dive in. On a more practical note, the room is wired with SONOS for sound and has a flat screen tv for when you finish your book.
This is the best view of the impressive beams that define the vaulted ceiling. We also used reclaimed wood to face the island - the boards were saved when we renovated the building in 2015.
